TITULIA CITY | Former inactive President Teacher (R) released a second blog post on why she was not in Titulia. She claims to have chosen family over Titulia and decided to instead enjoy her European vacation. Read the full post below:

THE DISAPPEARANCE:
Hi guys,
Now that we are on a first name basis, please permit me to apologise for the delay in this follow-up piece. I had the pleasure of enjoying a weekend break to Amsterdam, and understandbly could not pass up that chance for a virtual world.
Now, some ground rules: There's no point proclaiming to know it all when in fact you don't. There is no plot or conspiracy, just get over it, and stop speculating. Finally, I'm not playing 'god', just experimenting!
Now down to business:
Each year we take the kids on a long vacation, and this year wasn't going to be any differentexcept that it was both a summer vacation and a business travel (property investment).
Of course, knowing the short life span of a Titulian government, I considered not running for re-election as it would coincide with our vacation. But all those I confided in could not entertain the idea of me not running for re-election given our successes.
So, I ran and won but regretted it! Why, you may wonder? Well, there I was juggling spending time with my family that I was on vacation with, and travelling from places to places to invest in properties, and running a virtual nation.
Not a major issue, right? Of course! Except as I regrettably found out most so-called Titulians are just 'mouths' and no substance. Yes, there were the exceptions like Colonel whose efforts are impeccable, and my gratitude to him. My decision to appoint him to the Bench was the single and proudest achievement of my second term for it was a selfless act despite strong selfish opposition to it.
During elections, all hibernating Titulians come to life; and of course new immigrants are miraclously recruited! Spot the insinuation? Good on you!
So, why did I leave? I woke up one morning and realised that in London all I did was 'work' and 'Titulia'; and on vacation, rather than spending time with my family, all I did was 'Titulia' and 'property'. So, something had to give.
So, why was it Titulia that had to give? Because most were nothing more than arm-chair supporters, singing every now and then from the sidelines. People were too afraid to criticise; too afraid to contribute; supporters supported in forums and messages, but ask them to serve or contribute in some capacity, and they suddenly have all these commitments! Too afraid to commit!
Even the hard-working ones were pretending to leave Titulia or not able to contribute for fictitious reasons, even though privately all they did was plot my downfall whilst publicly cheering me, and privately trying to feed me wrong information.
Those who vehemently supported me also mistakenly thought they had a stooge; and their contribution was limited to going round acting as if they are the 'mafia' and 'king-makers'. Leave them in charge, and their inadequacies are exposed despite their famous organisational skills!
Once I decided that I was fighting a losing battle, I simply gave up, and decided to leave on a high as a 'President' rather than pointlessly muddling through to the end of my second term.
To illustrate my point to those of you sleeping on duty: I mean, I won my second term effortlessly. No real debate, or anything to stimulate the mind even though more citizens turned up as always the case during elections. A foregone conclusion: the presidency was mine! Was that really the way to simulate a real political environment? I don't think so!
You're either up to the task, or a follower; and let's face it, most of you are simply followers. As William D. Money said, I not only made history by winning back-to-back elections, but I did so while on vacation! Now that's how serious all ye hypocrites are! Will you have the same outcome in your real country? It's easy to shout nonsense, but do you really care about Titulia? Or are you here as part of the human social experiment?
But before I left, I decided to give you all a gift: how to deal with the constitutional crisis of an absent President. And sure enough all those in hidding came out, voicing their opinions, suggesting constitutional amendments, and like all good experimental guinea pigs, you never failed me.
Isn't it ironic that I had to throw away the second term of my presidency to get you to think and contribute. Well, I suppose that even though my message of peace was well received, I figured that my guinea pigs needed a crisis or controversy to come alive. So, I disappeared!
