TITULIA CITY (TNC) | TC MediaCorp Chairman JI981993 (R-FM) has announced that the company will formally close up to 4 of its media outlets and its 3 non-media companies. Despite successes in The Titulian Conservative, The RNC Daily, and TNCweb ,The company has decided to go into another direction and focus on its successful media ventures only. It recently bought up potential competitor-turned flop- TEnt News. After a potential merger, TCMC has decided to close a news outlet it once considered a competitor. Rumors have been swirling that TCMC is considering expanding its influence on the RNC Daily as it only has a 20% share. However, if more than 5% of the RNC Daily is given to TCMC, it would require an RNC-referendum. TCMC has rejected rumors it is considering buying back the Titulian Liberal ,which it sold to former President Alex Pijanowski. TC MediaCorp will not sell any of its failed media ventures, but is considering selling the Titulia Airport Authority and Tituliair (along with Titulia City Airport) to the government. However, negotiations may not begin until after the Presidential Election. Earlier this year, TCMC had been trying to promote its new media outlets by offering jobs in hopes it would drive up readership. However, its only notable employee was former Vice President and RNC Chairman TJ Norton (I), who worked for Titulia Today for a brief period of time.
