PARIS,FRANCE / near BRAZIL - The Web site of French daily Le Monde reports that a weak signal from Air France flight 447's flight-data recorders has been identified and a submarine has been sent to find them. The plane crashed into the Atlantic en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris on June 1 with 228 people on board.
