BRING IN THE NEW PM: David Cameron

Conservatives won 307 seats, but it was short of a 320+ majority to govern. After PM Brown resigned, Conservative leader David Cameron was brought in to succeed him. In the late hours of last night, David Cameron became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He received congratulatory talks from his Canadian counterpart, Stephen Harper (who is also a Conservative) , US President Barack Obama, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
