NEW YORK (TNC) | Candidates for both parties (particularly more attention to the Republicans) will hold primaries to decide their candidates for the November elections. Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) was nearly ousted amongst an Anti-Incumbent mood. She retained the Democratic Nomination with the help of Former Pres. Bill Clinton. In California, two candidates – one for Gov and one for U.S. Senate – have spent millions of dollars and are both former CEOs (Gov Candidate Meg Whitman is former eBay CEO and Sen Candidate Carly Fiorina is former HP Hewlett-Packard CEO). The GOP is also looking to pick a candidate to oust highly unpopular U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).
Stay tuned to TNC for the latest updates.
